Iran slams Saudi's aggression on Yemen in Hajj time

TEHRAN, Sep. 13 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy FM slammed Saudi Arabia's continuing aggression against Yemen's Muslim people, concurrent with the beginning of the Hajj pilgrimage.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reiterated that the incident indicates imprudence and disregard of Saudis for diplomacy and peace building.

Stressing that 'Yemen will not have a military winner,' Amir-Abdollahian said Tehran has proposed a viable political solution to the crisis in Yemen and supports national dialogue among all Yemeni parties.

"UN efforts to send humanitarian aid to Yemen, lifting the human siege and stopping war and bloodshed in the country have failed due to Saudi Arabia's aggressive intentions and questionable silence of some Arab and Western countries," Iranian diplomat added.
